Little Buddha On My Wall…

Little Buddha on my wall
Do you see my fears?
Hear my prayers?
I call upon you everyday
In hope that you hear
All that I have to say

Little Buddha on my wall
You look upon me
Like I’m afraid, of all that I’ve done
Loved, lost, betrayed
With a soft smile on your face
Seemingly amused
By my innocent gaze

Little Buddha on my wall
You know me better than I can
And yet you never answer
Where, what, how, why I am what I am
For that I’m thankful
Protecting, guiding, caring
Without care for my misgivings and callous claims

    Aahh … nice!!!!
I liked the way you spoke on his behalf.. and how you believed in what you think he says/does/thinks!
Very cleverly and sweetly done 🙂
